How To Prepare Whole Sea Moss Purple, Gold, or Mixed Instructions for Best Use:[No Heat - Blender Method]

In a large container, add the desired amount of purple Irish moss that you would like to use, and cover it with spring or distilled water. Make sure that the water covers the moss by 2-3 times because the moss will expand when rehydrated.

Allow the cleaned sea moss to rehydrate for 12-24 hours.

Thoroughly rinse your moss (3-4 times) until all the sand/salt has been removed.

Rehydrate the moss in clean water for 12-24 hours.

Place your sea moss into your blender.

Add warmed distilled or spring water until it fills halfway up to the height of your sea moss in the blender.

Blend until smooth, then store your moss gel in a clean glass container in the refrigerator.

Bring a pot of water large enough to hold your Moss to a boil.

Once the water starts to boil, turn the stove off and place your sea moss into the pot.

Blend the moss with additional water. (Cover the moss with water and) to blend into a gel. If the gel is too thick your blender will have a hard time blending so please add more water if this happens.

Soaked: If you are soaking your moss in water, you can leave it in a glass bowl in your refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
